Iron Horse Park 2024 Opening Day is Sunday, May 19th in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada.
Train lovers rejoice as the Iron Horse Trains start running for the 2024 season every Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm at Iron Horse Park in Airdrie.
Kids of all ages 1 to 101 love riding the miniature trains around the 1.6km track where you can feel what the railway was like in Western Canada during the pioneer days.
Ride over hills, across the varied landscape, over trestles, and through tunnels.
Admission to the park is free.
The cost of each train journey is $3.00
Ticket Bundles of 8 for $20.00 are also available
Children 2 years of age and under ride for free but must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult or an older responsible person.
Snacks and souvenirs can be found in the full-size replica of a CPR station on site. Picnic tables on-site provide a place for small family gatherings.
Smoking, Pets, Alcoholic Beverages, Private BBQs, or Hibachis are NOT permitted on the site on public run days.
